A selected range of the PLUS, TWIN and MIDI refrigerators and freezers are now available as CM versions equipped for marine usage. The CM models are delivered pre-mounted with a dedicated locking handle, marine legs and stainless steel marine shelves.
The range
The Gram Marine range includes glass and solid single-door refrigerators and freezers. The height is equivalent to the normal height of conventional cabinets apart from MIDI cabinets (+ 135/200 mm).
Marine equipment is available for the following models:
PLUS 600 and 660
TWIN 600 and 660
MIDI 425 and 625
Marine equipment
The handle is positioned at the side of the cabinet. This results in two limitations in comparison with conventional cabinets. Firstly, it is not possible to place two cabinets right next to each other. Secondly the door cannot subsequently be converted from right-hand to lefthand hinged, or the reverse, once it is on site.
The cabinets are supplied with adjustale legs from 130-200mm which can be fixed with screws to the floor for enhanced stability. The shelves have a 50 mm high front and rear edge, All shelves are fitted with two safety stop guide pins which can be fixed to the shelf supports to ensure no movement in heavy sea conditons when the door is open. The cabinet is supplied as standard with 4 or 5 shelves depending on the model. Extra shelves are available as accessories.
The CM models all come with humidity control which offers the possibility to adjust the moisture in the cabinet. The marine cabinets are not delivered with a pedal dooropener.
Works at 60 Hz
All cabinets are supplied with a compressor that operates at 230 V/60 Hz and use either R134a or R404a refrigerant. The units are also available as remote versions.
